 GSCO mourns the sad passing of life member Bill Poole (#293, CA). Bill completed his Grand Slam in 1980 with a Rocky Mountain bighorn that required six trips and fifty seven days of hunting. He often stated that ram was the most difficult of all his many hunting accomplishments. In addition to his Grand Slam, Bill also completed the Ovis and Capra World Slams. In 2008 Bill received the Conklin award. You can see more about that award and read a more complete Biography here. Our thoughts and prayers are with his dear wife Ingrid and their family.
